Windows 7 Parental Controls for usage time, programs & games

When your kids are using computer, there is constant worry as to how much time they will be using PC  for gaming , studying or for some thing else (like entertainment & other stuff). Thankfully on Window 7 you can check on your child’s computing habits without need for physcial supervision. There are options and features to restrict PC usage as per time, programs and games.

Time Control On Windows 7

With window 7 you can set the time of the day during which they can use the computer.

1. Go to Start > Control panel > User Account & family safety.
2. Click on User > Time Limit.

Now you can set the time of day that your child and use the PC.

Application Control On Windows 7

You can also select the programs that child can access and programs that child cannot access (and are blocked).

1.Go to Start > Control panel > User Account & family safety.
2.Click on User> Allow and block Specific program.

This will show you the list of program that you want your child does or does not access to.

Games Control On Windows 7

Children love to play games. You can set select the games for your child.

1.Go to Start > Control panel > User Account & family safety.
2.Click on User > Games > Set Game Rating (Here you can set rating on games).
3. If you want to block any particular game than go to click on User > Games > Block or allow specific Games

Select the games that you want child can play (according to its rating). With this you have  full access to what your child will be busy while using computer.
