Majority of Windows users perform word processing tasks in Microsoft Office application software. While MAC users have iWorks application for similar functionality. If you are using iWorks on MAC and want to share documents with Windows users with MS Office, you can easily export and save Apple Pages files in iWorks as Microsoft Word doc file format (or PDF, plain text file) for easy sharing compatibility.
Export Apple Pages as Word, PDF, text file
1. Open Apple Pages document in iWorks application.
2. Goto File > Export. A window will open with options like: PDF, Word, RTF, Plain text.
3. Click to select Word option. Then click Next button.
4. Type name for the Word document & click Export button to save Apple Pages documents as Microsoft Word file.
Similarly, you can select either of PDF or plain text option to save and export Apple Pages files as Adobe PDF format or plain text file respectively.
