Google Friend Connect is a very useful service that allows you to build a community on your website or blog. Users can join the community using any account from AOL, Yahoo, Google or Open IDs. Twitter has joined this list.
So, if you are an active Twitter user and want to be part of a website community using Google Friend Connect – just use your Twitter account to login and start interacting. As pointed by Google blog, to send a tweet about a site you have joined:
- Click the invite link in the members gadget.
- Then click the Twitter icon on the share tab.
The next time your followers sign in to Twitter, they will see your tweet containing a link to the interesting site you have found. This is very good addition and will make Google friend connect more accessible and appealing (welcome Twitter users…)!
