Snarl is a notification system that display cool alpha-blended messages on the screen. Unlike other forms of notification, Snarl does not hijack the current focused window, nor does it force the taskbar to be visible.
Also, notifications can either be cancelled by clicking on them, or left to disappear automatically if ignored for a period of time. Messages are extensible too as Snarl will notify the application which displayed the message if the user clicks it.
Snarl is a notification system inspired by Growl for Macintosh. Besides looking cool, notification box is quiet functional as well. Here is how the notification box will appear on desktop screen of your computer.
- It shows Clock with time and date.
- It can show unread messages.
- It also display any explicit reminders like meeting.
