Chrome Extension: Convert Google Maps URL to QR
1. Launch Google Chrome browser on your computer. Download QR Maps extension [Not available now – chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/idcpkhhjapphlebibbjlllmemhnaekng?hl=en-US]and complete installation.
2. Then open http://maps.google.com in web browser and navigate to specific location on Google Maps.
3. Click Code button at top right to view QR code image of current location on Google Maps.
You can point your smartphone camera at the QR code image to quickly open respective Google Maps URL on your smartphone for quicker and easier access. Also, you can use Google’s URL shortener goo.gl to generate QR code of any website URL.
