Google has finally made Google Docs Viewer feature official at http://docs.google.com/viewer. We could use this feature previously by manual code generation and manipulation. Now we can generate code to embed PDF, Powerpoint shows automatically using web based interface available at Google Docs Viewer.
Generate & embed code to show PDF, Powerpoint files
1. Open Google Docs Viewer tool on the computer.
2. Paste or type online URL of any PDF, Powerpoint, TIFF.
3. Enter the linking text, it is optional.
4. Click Generate button to get code for embed & display of files.
You can either share direct URL for viewer showing specific document or grab the embed code to display viewer on a webpage or blog itself. One neat and easy way to display PDF, PowerPoint and TIFF files online.
