Indian webspace is seeing lot of action these days with number of homegrown players and international players like Myspace concentrating and promoting India flavoured portals.
One portal that has stormed in recent past is www.in.com (buzz suggest parent company web18 paid 3 crores to get this domain – not confirmed though). In one week flat this domain is already challenging high traffic existing players like indiatimes.com, rediff.com, sify.com
How? Well, web18 has redirected all its bouquet websites to this domain. For example, there news channel website ibnlive.com is now ibnlive.in.com – similar was done to other websites like buzz18, josh18, tech2 and many more.
