Disk Burn feature in Windows 7 allows you to burn files to a disk in a blink of an eye. It is a striking tool to use if you continuously want to save backups of your files and documents into disks. Some people may find it irritating and would want to turn OFF this feature. This can be easily disabled in few simple clicks.
Remove Burn-To-Disk Feature
1. Click the Start and type gpedit.msc in the search field and open it.
2. In the Left Pane, Locate the following Folder:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer
3. In the Right pane, double click Remove CD Burning Features. In the opened Window, Click on Enabled, then Click OK.
Now the automatic burn-to-disk feature is disabled in Windows 7. To enable this feature again, just repeat the above steps and find the integrated feature back again running on your system.
